This morning on Facebook I set my status as a multiple choice question. On Facebook I spelled “friends” as “fiends” — which explains the first comment by Judy. I edited the question when I posted it into this blog. Anyhow, the question got quite a few responses which I’ve copied here using screen capture. If you want to respond yourself, you can go to my Facebook page (click on my name in the post and it should take you there…if you have a Facebook account yourself and we’re Facebook friends).
I find it fascinating to watch what kinds of status updates people respond to with comments and which get few comments but lots of “Likes.” Then there are the ones that appear to be totally ignored. I don’t know of any way to tell how many people read an update but don’t comment on it. I’ve said for a long time that updates that are about FOOD often get responses. I think that’s true.
Anyhow…here it is:
Ruth Hubbard If you had the choice today, would you (A) lounge in a hammock with a good book and a cool beverage, (B) ride an elephant through the jungles of southeast Asia, (C) bake cookies and pies all morning and then deliver them to friends all afternoon, (D) road trip along one of our coastal highways on the back of a motorcycle, or (E) _____________________________ (fill in the blank)?
