I always liked the plant in the middle pot. It’s a deep green color and not high maintenance (read as “I can forget to water it for a bit longer than other plants and it shows no signs of being near death”). It is a succulent of some sort.
Early this spring it sprouted a long, thin stem up from the center. I noticed it was leaning toward the sun, so I twisted the pot so it would lean back the other way. I do this with sun-seekers in pots. Instead of straightening, it just turned the corner and headed toward the sun. You can see that I’ve turned the pot a few times.
And then…it bloomed.
