I’m traveling to Siberia in just over a week. Often when I travel internationally I carry M&M’s — they seem to be a welcome treat for most Americans living overseas and any other chocolate lovers in the room.

It used to be easier, though. You know…back in the day when the choice was plain or peanut.  When I go to Target this weekend I will be not only selecting between a variety of bag sizes (all smaller than they used to be for the price) but also many varieties.

  • Plain (Milk Chocolate)
  • Peanut
  • Dark Chocolate
  • Dark Chocolate Peanut
  • Almond
  • Peanut Butter (I’m usually not allowed to purchase these as I tend to consume the entire package in a single sitting no matter what size the package is.)
  • Coconut
  • Premiums
  • Minis
  • and now…Pretzel

Any recommendations? (Or requests?)

We can get plain, peanut and hazelnut, so any of the others would be different. Probably not coconut though.

Hazelnut? Those aren’t even on the website?! Or maybe they are sold here as “Premiums” or something.

  3. Aileen says:

WHAT?! When did all of these come out??? How have I missed them?? Coconut? Pretzel? … and what are “premiums?”

Christie’s weakness is the peanut butter…we requested some when a friend was coming to visit, but instead he misunderstood and brought FOUR POUNDS of peanut M&Ms instead. You should have seen Christie’s face when she realized what happened…

Love it! That is a fun treat to travel with. There are mint ones as well unless they are seasonal. The original are always good.
