When you click on the image above, you will be linked to my 2010 Report to Ministry Partners. You should go to a website that looks pretty much like this screenshot image looks. If so, this is working just right.
This is an annual report of sorts which I’ve prepared specifically for those who partner with me in my ministry with Wycliffe Bible Translators. It updates them on a bit of what is going on globally as we work toward seeing that all peoples on earth have access to God’s Word in the language and form which serves them best and that God’ Word has impact in the lives of individuals and communities around the world. Before I posted this on my blog (and subsequently linked to this blog on Facebook), I sent a link in an email to ministry partners who’ve requested regular updates from me. If you’d like to be added to that list, let me know.
Additionally, it contains updates about some of the things I’ve been doing this year in my role as a Senior Vice President. (I resisted all urges to post photos of myself sitting in meetings or working at my desk in the office — though I do a good bit of both.) I didn’t do any of these things alone nor do I intend to take credit for any success or progress. God is the only One who can take the credit. I love that His design is for us to do this work — empowered, guided, encouraged, directed by His Spirit — together.
The Prezi software lets you navigate from place to place on this large digital poster kind of thing (small image to the left) so you can read/view each idea separately. (I’m test driving this tool to see if it might be helpful to us in other presentations. It made sense to me to do a “real” presentation while I tried it out — why waste work on a fake presentation, right?)
