Back home again, in…

I’ll be in the Indianapolis area in mid-June to join an event called RESET DIALOGUES hosted by Mission Exchange. Since Indy is home for me in many ways, I’m taking the opportunity to come one business day earlier than I would have to subsequently add a weekend to the venture.

My few days in the Hoosier Heartland (I really like saying that, so I’m glad I got it into this blog at least once) will include quite a few opportunities for me to connect with current and (I hope and pray) future ministry partners at both Faith Church and Village Life Church.

Saturday night I’ll be in the home of Brad & Jennifer Smith (Hey, that’s them with their three fantastic kiddos on the Village Life website!) and their Life Group.

Sunday morning I’ll be at Faith Church — giving a brief (5 minutes) update in both worship services. I’ll share more at a Pitch-In Lunch with a Missionary deal at Faith.

Sunday evening I’ll be at Village Life Church and plan on connecting after the services at a local eatery with whoever is available and interested.

Besides reconnection (or connecting for the first time) relationally, I have two goals for these two days.

First, I will have my calendar with me and want to set up some face-to-face time with potential new ministry partners. I’ll be back in Indy for almost a week at the end of July to engage and invite people to join this adventure.

Second, I want to update all my contact information for those who are currently engaged with me in our ministry through Wycliffe. I’ll be using an online form to collect info from current and new partners.

Anyone from these two faith communities who updates their info using this form between now and when I’m there in June will be entered to win fabulous prizes. Well, fabulous prizes on a small scale, but still prizes.
