The miracle of seed by no many sown
Gave life to him who came all God, all man.
The miracle of birth gave breath to One
Who breathed first life into the dust of man.
Sweet Jesus child broke forth into our world
While shouts of “GLORY!” rang throughout the sky.
Earth welcomed its Creator and its Lord;
Young Mary sang a silent lullaby.
There, Love confined to flesh, kept safe and warm,
Brought hope to those who seek for Kings in barns.
And there, upon the hay that He once formed,
A God-child stretched the limits of his arms.
Sweet Jesus man then stretched His arms again
To rid the world of hate, of death, of sin.
