Hubbard’s What?

Perhaps you remember the nursery rhyme about Old Mother Hubbard who went to her cupboard to find a bone for her old dog? The rhyme was first published in 1805 and is rather long and ridiculous. Anyhow, during my senior year at Bethel I wrote a column for the school newspaper every two weeks and named it Hubbard’s Cupboard. Later in my life I started using that title for my ministry partnership newsletters and then my blog.

While this blog has gotten periodic make-overs from time to time and at least once moved from one platform to another, it has been and continues to be an oddly public collection of my ramblings and rants—folded between things that make me giggle and gasp and gawk. It is a work in progress that gives evidence to the fact that I am too.
